Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Eaton’s Hydraulics division is currently seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro facility. The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for Execute & maintain APQP Engineering & EBS. Some activities related with the position will be: A. Maintain & improve current manufacturing processes to produce parts to specification. B. Actively participate in business review process including corrective actions to make an immediate impact to business results.   C. Lead & get the engineering requirements into the Pro-launch process.   D. Champion multi-disciplinary teams in activities related to quality/manufacturing issues.   E. Reduce high-risk priority numbers in manufacturing PFMEA’s.  Lead cross-functional teams to make process improvements.   F. Actively participate in business review process including corrective actions to make an immediate impact to business results.   G. SME´s key initiatives for the plant & utilize EBS to achieve plant goals.  Implement ELS tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Setup Reduction, 5-S, etc.   H. Determine and follow up tooling and equipment matrix assuring successful launches. I. Follow up key events and champions scheduled reviews with multi-disciplinary teams to assure proper equipment build and validations.   J. Automation Engineer

Job Description You will be part of the team in charge of automation, control and instrumentation of equipment in the factory. With focus on instrumentation, automatic vision and control system design, specification, programming, simulation and testing, and startup assistance.
